Human Resource Support Assistant (ME)
Great opportunity to gain HR experience under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources & Administration.
The HR volunteer will assist with the following:
Assist the HR team with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Posting job description in Squarespace.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, coordinating onboarding sessions, and assisting with database and paperwork completion. Help maintain employee records and databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Assist in coordinating employee training and development programs.
Assist with employee relations initiatives, including helping to organize recognition and team building activities. Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance evaluations, and HR projects. Contribute to fostering a positive work environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
