Board Member - Achievement Institute for STEM Scholars

OUR MISSION Achievement Institute for STEM Scholars (AISS) mission is to guide high-achieving, economically disadvantaged high school students interested in pursuing a career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. ABOUT US AISS was founded in 1997 by Paul Riordan, a retired Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) teacher, who saw the need for a program that would allow academically talented students from low-income families to realize their dream of a college education, thus breaking the cycle of untapped potential, underemployment, early parenthood and financial struggle.
