VIRTUAL PROJECT - Eating Utensil Kits
Our mission is simple: To feed a hot and nutritional meal to the homeless, the unemployed, the working poor, the mentally challenged, the physically challenged, senior citizens, and most importantly – the children.
The Soup Kitchen provides 200 meals per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! We make our meals fresh daily, consisting of soup, vegetable and fruit salads, hearty and filling side dishes, bread, dessert, and water. Along with this meal, our guests also get to choose from a wide variety of donations from our partners, such as Trader Joe's, Wal-Mart, The National Charity League, and community members like you who want to support our mission!

ALL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES at Someone Cares Soup Kitchen are highly important, directly affect our organization's operation, and are vital to our day-to-day success. Our volunteers are the driving force behind our mission and the heartbeat of our organization. By empowering volunteers to take ownership of their service while making a difference in the community, we all thrive. Eating Utensil Kits
(We Request a Minimum 50 Kits Per Volunteer)
Along with a hot, nutritious meal, 7 days a week, we also need utensils to go along with them! Please see below regarding instructions and items to include in our Eating Utensil Kits. Please note: these items and kits are intended to be purchased and made by you and then donated to us once complete.
This project does NOT apply to Community Service Hours. All CSH's MUST be completed in person.
Instructions: Using 1 napkin, roll utensils inside of napkin and tie with a small rubber band or ribbon. We use about 200 per day.

We also make these kits on-site! If you cannot create the kits yourself, we gladly accept these items to maintain our inventory. Must Be in Original Packaging:
Once completed, you can drop them off during our
Donation Drop Off Times: Monday through Friday from 10 AM - 3 PM.
