Gift Wrapping (DOS)
Families Helping Families is The Priority Center's annual "adopt-a-family" program that benefits those supported by The Priority Center's life-changing programs. Unfortunately, more than 95% of The Priority Center's children and families live below the federal poverty line, so the holidays are often stressful and challenging for them, especially as the cost of life's most basic needs continue to increase. Our annual program finds compassionate donors to fulfill our children's holiday wish lists and provide their parents with gift cards to purchase the family's greatest needs. In many cases, the only holiday gifts our families receive come through Families Helping Families. Last year, we helped bring holiday cheer to nearly 300 Priority Center children and families!
Description: Volunteers are required to bring four (4) rolls of wrapping paper to participate. Volunteers will wrap gifts and assemble them back into their bags to be ready for distribution.
Families Helping Families culminates with a drive through distribution event, in which families with transportation capabilities come to our partner's warehouse location in Huntington Beach to receive their gifts and meet Santa.
