Mock Interviewer 2021
DESCRIPTION
Mock Interviewers help youth and young adults practice essential one-on-one interviewing skills that could make or break a chance at a job opportunity. Mock Interviewers aim to offer crucial feedback to YES clients that will enhance their interviewing skills, sharpen their presentation skills, and build their confidence.
This opportunity allows YES clients to receive hands-on practice regarding what they learned from our Employment Skills Workshop and to then apply those skills in a highly practical & useful format.
TIME & LOCATION
Each session is approximately 30-45 minutes long. Most opportunities are scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays (time slots listed below). There are opportunities outside of this timeframe as well. Currently, Mock Interviews are being held virtually.
- 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM
- 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM
- 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM
- 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
TRAINING
- Orientation session
- Training materials provided
- Review of the Mock Interviewer Volunteer Packet
