VIRTUAL - Christmas Stockings for Homeless Shelter Residents (DOS)
Pleae help make spirits bright this holiday season! The Salvation Army Orange County needs assistance filling stockings for our 325 residents at the Anaheim Emergency Shelter. There is a specific list of gender neutral items needed with a value of $15. The list is specific in order to be fair to all residents and so that items fit into our purchased stockings. If you, or your group, are interested in participating, please contact me with any questions. The stocking stuffers need to be dropped off at the Anaheim Emergency Shelter NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH.
1 $5 gift card from Starbucks, McDonalds, 7-11, Burger King or Del Taco Plus; The following items from either a Dollar Tree, 99 Cent Store, Dollar General, etc. Ear Buds, 2 boxes of Candy movie size, gel pen, hairbrush or comb, lotion, journal or date book, small word search or scramble book, water bottle and deck of cards. Please focus on smaller sizes as all 11 eleven items must fit into one 17" stocking.
