Food Pantry Volunteer - Be a Hunger Hero!
Do you have some free time during the week? Are you interested in giving back to your community and helping families in need? South County Outreach has a volunteer opportunity for you!
South County Outreach is in need of Hunger Heroes to help in our Food Pantry! Each month, our food pantry serves up to 3,000 families in need in South Orange County. This is an amazing opportunity to help families in need in your community and make an impact to help prevent hunger.
Responsibilities:
Food Pantry Volunteers assist clients with shopping for food, and they help sort through food donations, stock the pantry shelves, and keep the pantry clean and organized.
Time Commitment:
Volunteers come in once a week for either a morning shift (9:00am - 12:30pm) or an afternoon shift (12:30-4:00pm) Monday through Friday.
