Volunteer Reader "Santa Ana"
Volunteer readers provide a positive reading experience for children in pediatrican waiting rooms, as well as model reading aloud for parents. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who would like to become involved in their community to help make a difference.

What do I need to volunteer?
- 18 years and above
- Available one day Monday – Friday for at least two hours a week
- Training is provided and required prior to being able to read with the children.
- Background check (done by our office) and TB test
- Volunteering is done in Pediatric doctor’s waiting room
- Locations in Anaheim, Huntington Beach, La Habra, Santa Ana and Tustin
Position Responsibilities:
- Enjoy reading to children in small groups or individually
- Communicating with parents about literacy
- Own transportation to pediatric clinic
- Documentation that contains the number of children read to
Age Minimum (with Adult): 17+, Minimum Age:18+
