Helmet and Bike Lights Distribution
Join us this day of service to help us make Orange County safer and brighter! Operation Bright Lights aims to distribute helmets, bike lights, and safety educational material to cyclists in Orange County. The event is about 3 hours, during which time volunteers will assist in the distribution of the safety material and engage with the cyclists and community of Orange County. The goal is to provide free essential equipment to those who need them and help cyclists understand how to ride safer. Operation Bright Lights is a part of Be Safe Be Seen - a summer initiative by Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to reduce accidents and injuries among pedestrians and cyclists. Operation Bright Lights will be located in an intersection popular to cyclists during peak commute time.
