Install Free Smoke Alarms To Save a Life! - Stanton, CA
Help us Sound the Alarm about home fire safety!
Every day 7 people die in home fires. You can help change that. Join us as we team up with fire departments, volunteers, and partners to install free smoke alarms in at-risk communities throughout Orange County. As a Sound the Alarm volunteer, you will go door-to-door in teams of 3-5 people in a targeted neighborhood, providing lifesaving fire safety education to residents and installing FREE smoke alarms in their homes. You will be provided with fire safety talking points and information sheets to leave with residents. Training for each position is conducted on the day of the event. Lunch and refreshments are provided for volunteers. Bilingual volunteers are always needed!
Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. for training and assignments.
