YANA Cancer Comfort Blankets
YANA-Cancer Comfort provides care packages to cancer patients to let them know “You Are Not Alone”. Our care packages include a hand-tied fleece blanket, handmade cap and a personal note of encouragement.
If you know how to tie a knot you are qualified to attend. People of all ages can enjoy participating in this event to touch the life of a cancer patient. Fleece material for the no-sew blankets will be provided. All you need to do is show up and tie knots to make a blanket out of two pieces of material.
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes #GivingTuesday, a day to remember those in need during the holiday season.
WISH LIST:
Cargo van to transport fleece material to events and care packages to oncology treatment centers.
