Help us Sound the Alarm about home fire safety in Fountain Valley!
Every day 7 people die in home fires. You can help change that. Join us as we team up with fire departments, volunteers, and partners to install free smoke alarms in Fountain Valley. As a Sound the Alarm volunteer, you will go door-to-door in teams of 3-5 people in a targeted neighborhood, providing lifesaving fire safety education to residents and installing FREE smoke alarms in their homes. You will be provided with fire safety talking points and information sheets to leave with residents. Training for each position is conducted on the day of the event.
Lunch and refreshments are provided. Volunteers will meet at 8:00am on 10/27/18 for training and assignments. Location in the area of Fountain Valley - reporting location emailed to registered volunteers the week of the event.
