Outdoor Education Center - Restore our Grove!

Second Saturdays at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center's Living Classroom.  Our organic garden and citrus orchard sustained damage in the Canyon Fire 2 in October 2017.    It will take a village to restore our grove and transform it into a thriving Food Forest that meets human needs while protecting ecosystem health and maximizing biodiversity.

Join us and be a friend of the Food Forest!  We need plenty of tender loving care, positive vibes, and fun service work - this event is recurring and we hope you'll join us to continue our restoration of this incredible living classroom which supports the outdoor learning of thousands of school children each year.

Please wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes with a hard sole, and bring a long sleeved shirt to protect from sun or for comfort while moving mulch.

Bring a hat, sunglasses, suncreen, and a water bottle to refill from our ice water coolers! If you have your own gloves, please bring those - we will have a limited number of pairs to loan for the day.

Please email info@iroec.org with questions.
